It is important for food production area to be free of dirt, grease and pests. Premise, tools and equipment have to be maintained to acceptable standard of cleanliness. This unit will equip learners with the knowledge and skills to maintain food and beverage production environment.
On completion of this unit, learner shall be able to apply the following at workplace:
Perform end-of-shift duties
Wash pots and wares
Clean food and beverage preparation equipment
Clean floors and mats
Dispose of trash
Complete end-of-shift duties and secure work area
Mini lectures to explain concepts and theories
Practical activities including role plays, demonstrations and practical performance
Mutual sharing and feedback.
Kitchen crew, kitchen assistants and all food handlers.

Full Course fee before SSG funding (inclusive of GST) $331.70
(after SSG funding* and inclusive of GST)
Funding Validity Period: 01 Mar 2019 to 21 Jan 2021
Upon successful course completion,self-sponsored singaporeans eligible for WTS scheme may apply for SSG TRAINING ALLOWANCE of $4.5 per hour & TRAINING COMMITMENT AWARD*
