Participants will be able to apply the 5S techniques at the work area to maintain cleanliness and organisation

    SEIRI – Clear unnecessary items from work area

    SEITON – Organise work area in an orderly manner

    SEISO – Clean work area

    SEIKETSU – Maintain work area cleanliness

    SHITSUKE – Maintain self-discipline in work area

 

For Whom

This course aims to provide people already working or wishing to enter the manufacturing industry with the skills and knowledge required to apply 5S techniques.

 

Admission Criteria

    Those completed Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) or above and are able to speak, read and write in English, or

    Those who had completed and passed the following Employability Skills System (ESS) Competency Rating

Listening / Speaking – Minimum of Level 3

Reading / Writing – Minimum of Level 3

Numeracy – Minimum of Level 3
