Prepare Healthy Main Course (Noodles)

Overview

1-day short programme to introduce local noodle-based main course dishes that are high in protein.

Main course dishes to be taught have been taken from various Health Promotion Board (HPB) recipes and are suitable for all ages. Dishes are high in protein and prepared in a healthier style.

Participants will also be introduced to basic food nutrients and their functions based on Health Promotion Board (HPB) Healthy Plate guide to healthy eating.  

Course Objective

At the end of the programme, participants will be able to:

Understand the functions of nutrients found in the 5 major food groups from Health Promotion Board’s (HPB) healthy plate

Use recommended ingredients to prepare noodle-based main course that are high in protein and calcium.

          Chicken and Vegetable Stew

          Sliced Fish Bee Hoon Soup

          Mee Goreng

The programme will be delivered through lectures, show & tell, demonstration and hands-on practise.

Award and Certification

At the end of the programme, participants will be awarded with a certificate of attendance issued by Eduquest International Institute.
