1-day short programme to introduce all-time popular Asian desserts prepared in a healthier style.
Dessert dishes to be taught have been taken from various Health Promotion Board (HPB) recipes are low in fat and sugar, making the dishes suitable for people with diabetes and hypertension.
Participants will also be introduced to basic food nutrients and their functions based on Health Promotion Board (HPB) Healthy Plate guide to healthy eating.
At the end of the programme, participants will be able to:
Understand the functions of nutrients found in the 5 major food groups from Health Promotion Board’s (HPB) healthy plate
Use recommended ingredients to prepare healthy Asian desserts that are low in sugar and fats

This programme is suitable for the following participants:
